Huge portions, great value and delicious.

Delicious burgers and fries. Went back for fish and chips the next day, fantastic food here. Take out only but worth the stop. Hugh portions. Outstanding service and prices.

Great awesome food at affordable prices. Place could use another waiter. Cozy pub , down to earth people.

My son and I, was taking a day trip, we stubbed into this restaurant, Bob's, wow, the person came outside to take my order was awesome, the service was great!! I order lobster roll, I was totally impress, bread was off the hook! I will definitely come here with my whole family, The Monteiros

Great Joint! Great food, cold beer and nice people; both staff and patrons. We split the seafood platter and it was fresh, hot and delicious. I'm still thinking about the fantastic scallops. We'll be back soon.

I walked in on my way home from the cape after a quick google search and seeing great reviews. It was surprisingly tiny and I had never been there before so I was looking around getting my bearings. The entrance was blocked off by tables so I asked “you guys just doing takeout right now?” Sure it was pretty obvious that was the case but the young guy behind the bar looked at me like he wanted to rip my head off and said “yes” with more tone than you would ever think could be fit in one word. I said “ok, just asking...” and these two guys sitting around in the room (employees on break?) started sniggering. When I tried to order a lobster roll and they said they were out I decided not to waste more time or any money there after literally being laughed at by these people for no reason. I don’t know why you would treat a potential customer like that.

Great bar atmosphere. All the locals there were very friendly. Stopped to get some take out dinner the bartender asked what he could get me within 30 seconds of walking in. Apologized for being out of lobster rolls and stuffed quahog. The bartender told me the food would be ready in 20 minutes so i waited outside. Went to walk in to get the food and the bartender brought it out to my car and said my curside to go was ready. The food was amazing even after a 10 minute ride to the cottage i was staying at. Would definitely go again. Cant wait to go back and try the lobster roll and stuff quahog.

Stopped in for a quick bite and as soon as i walked in I began to second guess my decision. It’s a small run down business but once the food came out boy was I impressed. My husband and I ordered the seafood platter to share and it was by far the best one we’ve ever had. Our server who happens to be the bartender as well was very nice, friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back the next time we are out that way.

Egg... We got the fried clams which I felt were very salty and tasted very fishy. The fries were good though.

Great fish and chips. Potions are huge and the best fish I've had is a long time. The place is small and won't look like much but the food is great. If you don't like hole in the wall type places you should skip it, but if you don't mind a bar room feel and great sea food you should check it out.

Good food and drinks at a very good price. Service was efficient, friendly and authentic. If you want the corporate, synthetic "hi my name is..." go somewhere else. While the glass, flatware and plates were spotless, the dining room not so much. Great, small, friendly, down and dirty neighborhood bar. When on the Cape, we'll be back.

Stopped by to pick up dinner after a long day of bicycling. They were so friendly and welcoming. Delicious, perfectly fried seafood—I would have ridden many more miles for this lobster roll ❤️

We were just passing by and stopped in the owner was just opening. Glad we got there when we did because it filled with people quickly. The food was great, prices were fair, received a generous amount of food, great fries and the burgers were as good as the seafood! We will definitely go again.

Glad I stop by. The seafood platter was delicious. Scallops, Shrimp, Clams, Fish and French fries. Plenty of food for 2. Great customer service. Will have to comeback and try their lobster rolls.

The fishermen platter was truly enough for two people. The all kind of seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. I definitely give the restaurant a five star. My one and only seafood restaurant I ever want to eat at. The bar maid was truly friendly. THANK YOU.

Lady at the front counter was the rudest person I have ever meet . Would not put a mask on during covid-19 when handling food stated its because "she works there". Would definitely not recommend going there especially if there is a lady working at the front counter.

Outstanding lobster roll! Fresh lobster served on a thick and crunchy roll. Huge lobster portion. Dan took our order and he is very friendly. What a delicious meal. Every aspect of service is done efficiently. We were very happy with our meal, the price is VERY reasonable, and we are glad to support a small and friendly local business.

Local joint at best, 5 star fried seafood and lobster roll to say the least. If you want a family sit down restaurant go down the street. If you want the best lobster roll and seafood platter for the price and a scar on your face come to The Whaleback

Very big servings at very low prices. Fish & Chips 9 bucks. Fish was big but overcooked.Hamburger and fries or Chicken fingers & fries for 8 bucks unheard of on the Cape.No atmosphere and questionable adherence to Covid rules.
